The title of the champion of the Second National League of Western Australia was won in mid-August, and last weekend the White Eagles from Dianela won the championship cup! In a celebratory atmosphere, in front of more than 600 fans at home, the Serbian club continued its series of victories, recording its twentieth triumph this season. "Fenjeraš" Kelmskot Ruz was just a decoration in the champion's bouquet - 4: 0 (1: 0). It will be remembered that the scorers in the penultimate round were Daniel Mackenzie in the 23rd and 82nd, Nikola Žmukić in the 72nd and Kristijan Despotovski in the last minute of the match. The audience enjoyed the spectacular performance of the Eagles. Everything was bursting with good moves, dribbling and nice goals, and the players were constantly rewarded with loud applause, chanting and a song from the audience. In the end, when captain Dejan Aleksić raised the champion's cup, the anthem of the White Eagles rang out from all the throats: They were playing in the middle of the country of Serbia! With this song, the pride of the Serbian community of Perth will play in a higher rank next season, the First League of Western Australia.

- We played incredible football all season, as evidenced by the results. We made a great balance in the team, a combination of young guys and experienced football players. The elders introduced the young into the system in the right way and were their support. Everything except the promotion to a higher rank this season would be a failure - the first coach of the team, Stuart Moses, said after the match. By entering the First League, the Eagles' ambitions did not dry up. On the contrary… - We will try to keep the whole team together and strengthen with a few more quality players for next season. Our goal is to place ourselves in a higher rank next year as well. It will be much harder, but we will fight to enter the Premier League - Moses announced. The Eagles played against Kelmskot: Aleksić, Kjuser, Pretorius (Njegić 20 '), Ninković (Žmukić 49'), Meki, McGigan, Anga Lopandža, Masonda (K. Despotovski 46 '), Mackenzie, Higni, Talimdžioski. The Eagles are now following the match of the last round, away against Murdoch Melville, in which victory will again be the goal because everyone at the club wants the season to end without a stain. The match will be played on Saturday, September 11, at 5:00 PM at the Wormall Stadium on the campus of the University of Murdoch. The ideological creator of the champion team of the White Eagles is the sports director of the club, Slobodan Bobi Despotovski. - The season is going according to plan, we have not lost any of the 21 games and we are all happy that the cup has reached our hands. This is the success of everyone in the club, not only the players and the professional staff, but also the management of the club and everyone who has been with us all this time. Many thanks also to all the people who encouraged us at the games of the whole season and who came in large numbers to greet us at the awarding of the trophy - said Despotovski.
